My Picks: Right off the Pages of GQ

I am loving the desire men have lately to step it up a notch. The tailored look really does it for me!

Of course there's DIDDY, in his gray suit, with a vest. He is actually wearing a plaid dress shirt and checkered tie. If you would have just explained that to me, I'd definitely say it would look horrible but it works here. Very nice Mr. Combs!

Rising star, NATE PARKER attended the People's Choice Awards in all black and I think it's nearly impossible to go wrong with this look. It always looks so clean and polished, even when one opts for no tie!

TYRESE attended his birthday party recently also looking suited and booted. And from the looks of things, the checkered tie and patterned shirt is the thing to do. I'll be on the lookout for that.

I Love a Man in a Suit!!

The so fresh and amazingly debonair JAY Z wears this gray suit so well. Tailored for sure, the perfect fit distracts from the plaid shirt he has on under....not so much a fan of that, but it still looks good.

A tieless NELLY & MAXWELL keep it sexy and casual in their black suits; NELLY going with the pin-stripe button up, while MAXWELL keeps it classic with the basic white dress shirt.

Three of what are arguably the best actors of our time all attended NELSON MANDELA'S 90th birthday party in style. They all look amazing, and although this is just a shot of the upper bodies of FOREST WHITAKER, WILL SMITH, AND DENZEL WASHINGTON, it is clear that their suits are not too shabby. In fact, they are amazing. My fav here is DENZEL'S. I am definitely a fan of black on black suits and he does it justice here.

SHAWN MERRIMAN & MARCUS ALLEN looked amazing at the ESPY'S. I am really loving the purple tie that MERRIMAN has on, it gives the suit more character. A big contrast to ALLEN's which pretty much fades into the shirt.

Alright, now this is my kind of party, lol. TYRESE, DERRICK FISHER, AND TERRELL OWENS all came straight off of the pages of GQ at this ESPY event. None of whom I think are particularly drop dead gorgeous (except Tyrese) all make me look just a little bit longer than I would usually. That suit really pumps up their sexy factor! T.O. goes black and white and definitely does it right. I love the jacket, the black trim really gives it a classy look. FISHER looks more like a news reporter with that tie, but still very nice. And TYRESE.....wow. He's pretty much my fav complexion. I know that sounds weird but his skin is so beautiful, and when he smiles, those beautiful white teeth contrast with that skin...ok let me stop! He went for the sexier look opening up the shirt to expose that chest, and of course I have no problem with that, lol.

Last but not least is soccer American soccer phenom FREDDY ADU. If you don't know who he is, you truly need to ask somebody! He is pictured at the ESPY Awards (which was amazing by the way). He also went tieless and the suit is obviously tailored, being that it fits so well. I said it once and I'll say it again......I LOVE a man in a suit!

For My Fellas: He Really is the Louis Vuitton Don!

KANYE WEST must really know the power of speaking things into existence! He is the self proclaimed "Louis Vuitton Don," stating so in various song lyrics and for a while I though PHARRELL was beating him out with the jewelry and sunglasses he produced for the line; but clearly Mr. WEST wasn't going to let that happen. He is set to produce a range of designs for a Mens Footwear collection. I can't wait to see what he comes up with!
*By the way....I LOVE his sequined sweater in this shot!

For My Fellas: Talib's Hoodie

I love this hoodie TALIB KWELI is wearing! I love colorful stuff, and especially when men aren't afraid to throw some color in their lives. TAKE NOTES!

For My Fellas: Loving Louis Weezy?

Man, if Louis Vuitton depended on one person to provide advertisement, it would be a tie between KIMORA LEE SIMMONS and LIL WAYNE. This weekend at BET's Spring Bling in Florida, Weezy was a walking advertisement for LV. Though it may not seem obvious at first glance, I'll give you the run down of what he's wearing. His "father" Baby also wore a little Louis on his feet.

Beanie....check! This red and brown beanie is in your stores now, and you can get a matching scarf for it too. I did a post on the set in January seen on both Young Jeezy and Jermaine Dupri.

Scarf....check! This scarf uses the same design as the Cruise Collection 08 - Momogram Mini Lin Croisette bags. I'm sure it's available in the stores, but I couldn't find it online.

Damier Canvas Belt.....Check! They average about $500.00 give or take a few.

Charmed Keychain....Check!

Hi-top sneakers.....check
!

There you have it! I think he's trying to beat out the self proclaimed "Louis Vuitton Don" KANYE!

For My Fellas: Stylish Suits

These men looked amazing in their suits last night! I liked SEAL look the best because his look was different. He wore an all white suit, slim black tie, with a pair of sneakers, which was what won me over. The shoes really relax the look and make for a more playful SEAL.

Of course, JAY-Z, the man who boasts that his closet has 2 complete floors (levels) is looking amazing in his suit. The TOM FORD suit looked absolutely amazing on CARTER and I fell in love with the jacket becuase it featured a very interesting pattern which reminded me of PRADA a bit. Either way, he looked fantastic.

The last person that I thought was worth mentioning is LUDACRIS. He was wearing GIORGIO ARMANI and he wore it well. The all black suite and dress shirt was paired with a white tie and handkerchief, breaking up the solid black just enough. still remaining very classy. He comes in close second right behind SEAL. I like this look very much.

For My Fellas/I Love My.....

...LOUIS VUITTON SCARF!

Scarves have become a very big part of everyone's wardrobe's this fall. Every winter is getting colder, and I think this calls for the necessary additions to keep us all warm. A scarf that I have seen more than a couple of times in the past few weeks is the Louis Vuitton scarf. It's a little too busy for me, I like solids. But JERMAINE DUPRI, DJ JUS SKE, New York's go to DJ, and YOUNG JEEZY, prefer the monogrammed pieces. DUPRI & JEEZY really went the extra mile, wearing the matching beanie. This hat was also seen on Bow Wow and T.I. last year. I like the one Young Jeezy is pictured in, it looks better in black and gray, and I also think he's cute, lol. No but seriously, the black and gray is the way to go, at least in my opinion.

If I Must Say So Myself.....

.....PHARRELL looks amazing! His face is always amazing (lol), but I am loving his whole look here. He is pictured @ his Hotel in Paris, where he has been spending plenty of time due to his dealings with Louis Vuitton, not to mention all the fabulous fashion shows that have been taking place. Anyways, "Skateboard P" (as he is affectionately known) is wearing a pair of fitted jeans, with a black blazer w/satin lapels & a vest. I think the bowtie really makes the outfit, and the slippers (that reportedly cost $5,000) add the flavor that is Pharrell to the outfit.

For My Fellas: Fall 2008 Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite

YES! That's right, I said FALL 2008! I know, I know, we are barely out of Fall/Winter 2007, but the new LV Damier was not something I could wait to post. The Damier Graphite is a bold and fabulous new addition to the Damier line. I love the colors that already exist (Azur, Canvas, and Geant) but this is a completely different situation! lol I am over here with my fingers crossed that this crosses over to the women's collection and perhaps a Speedy 30 is produced! We have PAUL HELBERS, the mens' design director for LV to thank for the amazing addition. I'd love that! Hopefully LV does not think it's too masculine to create purses for the ladies in this pattern/collection! Unfortunately fellas, these bags will not be available for you to purchase until the end of the year, however they will be in all stores once released.

“Graphite gives things a more masculine image and finish. Paul did an amazing job introducing all the possibilities it offered,” Jacobs said of the Graphite creation.

Pictured here is none other than PHARRELL WILLIAMS at the show in Paris, where the new line premiered, holding a Damier Graphite Keepall for all to see. Like I said a few posts back...I think we all see who the true Louis Vuitton don is! ;)

Valentine's Day Ideas: "That's L0VE"

With Valentine's Day less than one month away, I take it men are scattering to find what to buy their lovely ladies. I have an idea.....and so does Louis Vuitton! From the exclusive limited edition "That's Love" collection comes a few things that could make her smile this V Day, given the very cute designs. My favorite piece from the line is the canvas tote bag. Some of them come in canvas, and some in silk. Of course the satin one is about $1,700 which is a little steep, but you don't have to go satin. Other goodies from the collection include shoes, and a cute scarf that goes for $195 and can be purchased on eluxury. One other cute item, not from the "That's LOVE" collection, but still Louis Vuitton is a hot pink heart pocket purse, pictured here. Of course, flowers and candy will always do the trick, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind a little extra something mentioned above! :)

For My Fellas: Pierre Hardy Sneaker

I saw these PIERRE HARDY sneakers on Kanye Wests' blog. I like them, they are a change from the uniformity I see most sneakers following these days. I especially love the selection of colors. It's a very cool shoe and after visiting the website I was able to come to the conclusion that I love him as a designer. He is very versatile and both the male and female shoes are appealing. I recommend going over to the site and checking out some of the bags and shoes, you won't be disappointed. I posted a few of the ones that really caught my eye, the heels however do look crucial, but it's nothing I can't handle. www.pierrehardy.com ;)

For My Fellas: So Ummmmm Yea......this is how you do it.

The sexiest man alive (at least in my opinion), supermodel TYSON BECKFORD was spotted out and about in NY doing some promo for his new tv show on Bravo "Make Me a Supermodel." He looks very stylish in a black pin stripe suit, metallic tie, and topping it off with a weather appropriate camel jacket. Fellas, if you want to step out....this is how you do it.

For My Fellas: FIT TO BE KING

These gentlemen truly deserve the title, being that they attended the Movies Rock event looking very "dapper" if you will. I love how all of the pieces are every tailored, and fitted for their particular shapes.

LL COOL J ends up on these posts more often than anyone, he always has a very nice suit on and he wears them well. This particular time he is wearing a gray suit and one of his signature hats. The color is amazing on him and he added a little sparkle with his chains that he doubles up. Very good look.

Next is the new father of a baby boy USHER. He always pull it together well, and he didn't do otherwise this particular time. He went for a more classic look, rocking the same hat as LL, but with a vest versus a jacket. Very classy Mr. Raymond.

Singer JOHN LEGEND was very sexy in a black tux with a bow tie, which we haven't been seeing that often lately. He looks very well put together in the satin trimmed number.

CHRIS BROWN took it down a notch, but kept it stylish. He wore a white sweater, and matching tennis shoes with a black beanie. I like the button-up that he wore under this sweater, its a nice shade of green. It's age appropriate, and he looks good.

For My Fellas: I scream, You scream, We all scream for ICE CREAM!!!

So I have officially decided that I like this line. I was kind of iffy about the line due to the very gaudy type pieces that they sometimes produce. Here are a few of the most interesting pieces I've seen lately. I am really feeling the most recent additions to the BBC & ICE CREAM lines, someone has stepped their game up.
First is this very stylish BBC University Cardigan, worn by KANYE WEST, and pictured in the 3 available colors of grey, ivory and navy. I really love this jacket, it can be worn preppy or dressed down, like WEST has done. It looks cozy too, so fellas I would add this to my Christmas lists if I were you. It will look good on you....I promise! :)

Next are a couple of pieces that I find particularly creative. Waffle print shoes and waffle print a matching tote bag. The shoes are your basic sneaker and look like they would be a yummy addition to your closet! The shoes go for $195 and the bag is $230.

Another very cute hoodie from the line features the Ice Cream Pin-Up girl in a bikini with socks and sneakers. I like it in heather gray, but it also comes in pink. This lovely piece goes for $320!

The big chunky sweater that Pharrell has on, a BBC Knit Straight logo Zip Sweater (Ivory), is very stylish and I love the way it looks perfect for Winter. It features 2 front pockets and Pharrell is displaying the back, while the other photo is of the front. All of the logos are knitted. It is sold for $330.

You can find all of these pieces on the website: http://www.bbcicecream.com/store Go and check it out!

For My Fellas: BBC Robot Hoodie

Here is the new BBC Robot Hoodie. It's kind of hot, and I like the colors. There were only 10 available on the web-site and about 50 shipped over to the US. Very simple yet stylish!

For My Fellas/Fashion Do's: Casual but Cool

These guys both know how to dress up as well as down. And by down I mean casual, not "Frumpy." JAY Z and KANYE WEST were both out looking very dare I say it "sexy"...and neither one of them are sexy to me; but clothes can work miracles! :) They both possess a different type of "swagger" and they possess it with confidence.

Jay Z was out and about in NYC doing a tv appearance for David Letterman and is pictured getting out of his transportation of choice, a Phantom. He is dressed for the weather but stays stylish in a black jacket, light jeans, and the scarf is honestly what made me choose this as a hot look. Not many guys thrown on scarves these days, or should I say fashion scarves, that obviously aren't there for warmth, but rather for fashion. I would not usually like the shoes, but they are classic shell toed ADDIDAS and who can go wrong with those? A rosary is his jewelry of choice.

WEST keeps it funky with a pair of Jordan tennis shoes, a darker faded wash of jeans, and a white GUCCI jacket. He also chose to add a scarf to his look and a backpack, which is a little hard to spot due to the white on white. Kanye hardly ever gets it wrong and he's always ahead of the style game. That's a good look.

For My Fellas: Pinstripes Please!

This is a style of suit that not everyone can wear, but these 3 gentlemen do it oh so well. I just love how a man looks in a tailored suit!

LL COOL J is pictured at the La Dolce Vita event in a black pinstripe suit, tie-less, with one of his signature hats and a pair of semi-transparent, tinted shades. I still don't know why he insists on covering up that head of his, but to each their own. I personally like a bald head :)

Next is the genius behind BAPE: NIGO, whom we have all come to know as Pharrell's right hand man, after Chad of course. He wore a pinstripe navy blazer with a pair of jeans which I'm almost certain are BAPE or BBC. He wore a white shirt with a sky blue silk tie and a BBC baseball cap. I don't love it, but he's staying true to his style, by not dressing it up too much.

Last is former king of the ROC, Mr. Damon Dash. He wore his suit very well I might add, keeping it simple with a black tie and white shirt, minus and accessories such as hats unlike the other two. Looking good Mr.Dash. Oh, and congrats on your expected arrival!
