Speak of the devil....or should I say Louis?!

I see that I'm not the only one lusting after the new Louis clutch! I was over at one of my fav sites, Red Carpet Fashion Awards and I see that KELLY OSBOURNE is also a fan of the African Queen Clutch. Love it!

Bag Lady: I heart the African Queen Clutch!

So Louis Vuitton has gone and done it again! This time it's by way of their Show Spring Summer 2009 Collection. Inspired by the Stephen Sprouse, the African Queen Clutch is sooo amazing.

Not only am I a sucker for animal print, I love the golden colors used and the closure is very appealing as well. Check out the different colors available...or not. It seems this bags is already sold out in a some of the colors.

Bag Lady: Rihanna & her Givenchy Nightingale

RIHANNA was spotted wearing this Givenchy Nightingale bag the other day while heading to the studio in Santa Monica. She also has the bag in purple in the larger size.


I am not a very big fan of this one in particular, but they style is still one I love. My black one is still giving me the satisfaction I need, but I may switch it up a bit and get one with a patter, we'll see. Which bag are you feeling more?

Bag Lady: Are we feeling Melissa's sheer Fendi?

I thought my mind was playing tricks on me at first, but I soon realized that the Fendi bag Rihanna's BFF and assistant Melissa was carrying was transparent. It is really cute, but I don't know if I'm trilled with the idea of everyone being able to see what I'm carrying around, especially for those of us who tend to carry any and everything!

There is also a tote version of this bag but I have to say, I'm really not feeling either. How about you?

I Want That/Bag Lady!

So I have an obsession with bags! I love collecting them, but I'm very selective and picky about what works for me and what doesn't. With that said, I am currently waiting on my Givenchy Nightingale to arrive on my doorstep any day now, but since I ordered that two more bags have caught my eye (I know, I know). You're probably thinking enough is enough, but I can't help myself.

The first of the two is the Jimmy Choo "Eva" clutch, which is not something I'd typically like, but since I've started going out more and more in the past few years, I realize that my obsession for oversize bags is not always appropriate, and it can really mess up a nice outfit. This bag seems like it'd add just enough to an already classy dress or an even more casual look. I love the watchstrap hardware! I think that's definitely what won me over!
The second bag is the YSL Besace Messenger bag. I saw this bag while browsing the net one day and then most recently on Elle Magazine's editor in chief Anne Slowey on Stylista. I love a bag I can use different ways. Ths bag for example can be worn over the shoulder like most bags or the strap can be lenghtened to be carried across the chest, like a true messenger bag. I like the black one. Fans of this bag include Rihanna of the gold one and Jessica Alba of the black.

So these are my current obsessions as far as bags go! What bags are you eyeing?

Bag Lady: Roberto Cavalli Apple Bag

BEYONCE was recently spotted in the airport carrying a Robert Cavalli Apple Bag. The bag has become very popular, worn by another beautiful lady, HALLE BERRY. This is where I first spotted the bag, and when I started drooling over it. I love the unstructerud shape of the bag, it looks so soft and the hard handles counter it just right. These two are not the only ladies to be seen carrying the circular arm candy; BLAKE LIVELY, VICTORIA BECKHAM, BAR RAFAELI, & JESSICA SIMPSON are all owners of this bag too.

Bag Lady: Gucci Girls!

I came across this pic of two Ex-Girlfriends: JILL MARIE JONES of the show Girlfriends and DEELISHIS, Flavor Flav's Ex Girlfriend, both carrying very popular GUCCI bags. Deelishis' arm candy is the Gucci Indy Bag in black. This bag is also a favorite of Raven Symone and Toni Braxton, as Chi-Chi pointed out once before.
Jones is wearing a Gucci Horsebit Hobo in black that I also used to see her former Girlfriend "Joan Clayton" aka Tracee Ellis Ross rocking on the show. I have this particular bag in the Guccisima leather and it is definitely timeless.
I've had it for about two years and I wear it like I got it yesterday, and receive tons of compliments! Now I know why it's in the "Classic" section of the site. I love bags! lol

Bag Lady: Arm Candy

I have my eye on the GUCCI Hysteria large tote bag that CIARA rocked to Jeezy's birthday party over the weekend in Atlanta. I was sold when I saw the Hysteria bag in Lindsay back in April in this patent style. I like the style she's wearing over the tote, but I would not shy away if some happened to buy me the tote....hint hint, lol. The bag retails for $1650.00

ANGELA SIMMONS rocked her Monogram Vernis Alma Louis Bag while out and about doing some shopping in Beverly Hills recently. I love her look here, laid-back but classy. It doesn't hurt that she topped the casual look off with a $2,000 bag.


Next is another Louis lover, KEYSHIA COLE; She is sporting the Monogram Denim Neo Cabby GM in black. She was spotted hopping into her drop top Rolls Royce Phantom (must be nice) while leaving an LA club. Meagan Good is also a fan of this bag, as she's been spotted in it numerous times also.

While he is not a Bag Lady, LUPE FIASCO is rocking an exclusive piece of luxury luggage. I did a piece on the history of the trunk-maker back in January, as I became aware of it. Anyhow, Lupe had his bags packed and one of them happens to be this red Goyard Ambassade bag, which retails for just over $2,000. I am loving it!

And last but not least, B decided to pull out her Dolce & Gabbana Miss Pocket Patchwork Snakeskin satchel recently. She was spotted with it early June, and we all know she has loads of bags to choose from, so this was the lucky pick this week. She is also rocking the same earrings she wore back in May when she was going through her obsession with Chanel phase (inset).

Bag Lady: Rihanna's Givenchy Nightingale

RIHANNA is always rocking the flyest and latest bags, so it's no surprise that she has this amazing bag on her arm....yes the one I've been eying for a min. now.

The Givenchy Nightingale bag is right up my alley, as it is huge and I can carry my life around in it!

Bag Lady: Who's Got What

Here are few of the hottest bags out right now on some of the hottest ladies. I am loving these bags personally and will do whatever is necessary to get my hands on @ least ONE!!! I have the one Kim is rocking, but I need that Babouska in my life! lol Check it out!

I love the tassel detail, and of course Gucci's signature champagne gold hardware!


CIARA also shows her love for the GUCCI Babouska collection in this Medium Boston Bag.

I love how she dresses it down, the signature bags are already so busy on their own.


TINY, former XSCAPE member and T.I.'s bottom chick rocks all of the latest designer bags. That's one thing I've always noticed about this chick.

Here she is carrying the Louis Vuitton Suhali Lockit MM in gold. Hers is special ediction, but it also comes in other colors (such as the white and brown pictured here).


And of course, Kobe's wife VANESSA BRYANT stays with the hottest pieces from the top designers. Here she is pictured with the ever so popular Babouska bag.

She is rocking the clutch from the collection, which also comes in blue and red.


Last but not least is KIM KARDASHIAN with he GUCCI Horsebit hobo. This bag is a classic from Gucci. Very timeless.

This particular color is not sold in stores any longer, however chocolate, signature canvas and the Guccisima versions are still available and are in the "classic" category. This means they're staples for the line and probably won't go anywhere anytime soon.

Bag Lady: Someone loves her snakeskin bag....

BEYONCE is known to carry and exclusive bag...or two...or three. Remember when she was spotted with one of 24 of the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bags? A $42,000 bag?! She switches up pretty often and really doesn't get caught rocking the same bag too often, but it seems she's taken a liking to this blue--greenish snakeskin one. It's not something I'd have to have but I have to admit it is pretty eye-catching. She was spotted on three different recent occasions rocking the bag, with 3 very similar outfits. Seems like this is her all around convenient tote bag, as she threw her laptop in it on a recent trip to the airport.

Most recently at a concert in New York, B rocked the bag with a pair of jeans, a gray shirt, a cute scarf (that I saw pretty much an exact copy of @ Forever21) and a pair of banging red heels w/a metallic toe.

She also wore the nag a while back while she was in her "F the Paparazzi" mode, with a pair of jeans, black peep toe pumps, white tee and a gray hooded jacket.

And last week at the airport, she was spotted lugging the bag around the airport with her in a pair of jeans, a white blouse, a fab necklace and a pair of what look like YSL gold and tan sandals! I love it.

Bag Lady: Halle's Apple Bag

HALLE was spotted out and about recently rocking the ROBERTO CAVALLI "Apple Bag" which I think is adorable! I love the shape of the bag and the handles especially. It looks like a cushy pillow with the unstructured shape, and the circular handles complete the effect. The bag is from the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 Collection and is sold for just under $3,000.

Bag Lady: Louis Vuitton Monogramoflauge

This bag is definitely causing a stir among bagaholics! The new LOUIS VUITTON MONOGRAMOFLAUGE, designed by world famous artist TAKASHI MURAKAMI was recently revealed in New York at the Brooklyn Museum. It is a little much for me, but apparently the following ladies don't think so. I mean I don't hate it or anything, if one was given to me, I'd definitely rock it, but saving up for it is definitely out of the question!
RIHANNA rocks her Monogramoflauge Speedy with an all black outfit. The very fashion forward blazer is form the ELIZABETH & JAMES line, which is owned by the Olsen twins. You can find all of the specifics on her outfit from head to toe over at concreteloop.com
Next is TRINA who wore the bag on the red carpet at the BET awards. She brightened it up with yellow and gold.
Someone whom we haven't seen in a while also rocked the bag, singer MONICA was out and about in Beverly Hills wearing the scarf (which is very cute, but I know this LA weather didn't call for it) and the bag. She looks amazing and I love this one-piece jumper she has on by ALICE + OLIVIA!
