MARY J. BLIGE was spotted out and about with her crew of music moguls spreading the word about important it is to vote this November 4th. She was wearing this very cute black pea coat and a fur Louis Vuitton scarf.
It also just so happened to be one of BEYONCE'S favorite things featured in In Style magazine this month. She says she bought it "during winter in Paris, which is one of the most fashionable and romantic cities in the world." I wasn't a fan of the set, but the scarf worn by itself looks good, it's not too much. They are not the first to be fans of Louis Vuitton fur.
KANYE & PHARRELL have also rocked the furs....as we are very much aware of their involvement with Marc Jacobs and the Louis Vuitton brand.
Also, an anonymous reader asked me about the beanie and scarf set that YOUNG JEEZY, JERMAINE DUPRI and LIL WAYNE were all spotted in. He/she told me they were having problems finding the set, but that was becuase it was out of season. I was in the Louis Vuitton store this weekend and they just arrived! Now that winter is rolling around, it's back in stores!
The Monogram Cahmere Ski Scarf retails for $760.00 and the Monogram Cashmere Ski Hat for $435.00. When I asked to see the different colors, he told me that they would definitely be out of stock soon and that a waiting list would likely be formed. It comes in gray, blue, chestnut, green, and brown.
- I feel a great mascara can open the eye and instantly make you look as though you’ve have a good night’s sleep, even when that is not the case. I use 2-3 coats of Lancome Fatale on the top, bottom, and also on the back of the top lashes.
- Because of my Indian ancestry, I love darkly rimmed eyes – a messy eye adds a sexy yet natural look to a classic outfit. To make the eyes smoky, I use Revlon’s Luxurious Color Kohl eyeliner in Black Truffle on the inside of the lids.
- Bright lipstick is a way to quickly pop an outfit and freshen up a look a la Ava Gardner in “The Barefoot Contessa.” My favorite bright is MAC’s Morange lipstick – it’s a great way to add a twist to a classic look.
- Another way to make your face pop is to fill in the eyebrows. I use Bobbi Brown’s eye shadow in Navajo.
