Here are some of my picks of the weekend:
JILL JONES who we all know from the hit TV Series "Girlfriends" wore this gray crew neck dress that I though was so adorable, with a matching top hat and a pair of bronze peep toe shoes. I'm not too sure as to what that is at the bottom, but it wouldn't hurt to lose that part of the outfit. Beyond that, it's a great look!
Gorgeous actress ZOE SALDANA wore this very beautiful white dress over the weekend to the GLAAD awards. I love the draping on it, and I especially like the bow on the left shoulder! Not to mention perfect shoes!
DIANA ROSS came out over the weekend to attend the Iron Man movie premiere and I absolutely loved her look! Not many people agree, but hey, who cares! This jacket is fabulous and I am in love with the color! She threw on a pair of rain boots, and I don't exactly know why but in some odd way it worked!
Model and actress JOY BRYANT, also at the Iron Man movie premiere wore a very interesting top that I adored! It was so different and like nothing we've seen. I love new fresh things on the red carpet! The color scheme works with the very busy top, and I like it!
Supermodel LIYA KEBEDE landed here twice in one weekend. Once at the Tribeca Film festival in a sleeveless knee-length black dress with an amazing par of shoes! I am assuming these are by CHANEL, as they are sponsoring the event, but don't quote me on that!
She's also pictured again in a very cute off the shoulder satin dress that I like in a weird way. This chick can wear just about anything and make it look amazing, and she definitely proves that here. I love it!
- I feel a great mascara can open the eye and instantly make you look as though you’ve have a good night’s sleep, even when that is not the case. I use 2-3 coats of Lancome Fatale on the top, bottom, and also on the back of the top lashes.
- Because of my Indian ancestry, I love darkly rimmed eyes – a messy eye adds a sexy yet natural look to a classic outfit. To make the eyes smoky, I use Revlon’s Luxurious Color Kohl eyeliner in Black Truffle on the inside of the lids.
- Bright lipstick is a way to quickly pop an outfit and freshen up a look a la Ava Gardner in “The Barefoot Contessa.” My favorite bright is MAC’s Morange lipstick – it’s a great way to add a twist to a classic look.
- Another way to make your face pop is to fill in the eyebrows. I use Bobbi Brown’s eye shadow in Navajo.
