The
MURAKAMI exhibit is now taking place at the MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art). I love his work and he is best known in the fashion world for his collaboration with MARC JACOBS for the Louis Vuitton Collection.
He rose to fame popularizing the style of artwork called "Superflat," that is characterized by flat planes of color and graphic images involving a character style derived from anime.
The exhibit will be in Los Angeles for about 4 months, until February 11, 2008) so you don't have to rush! I will definitely be heading that way, probably some time next month. Go check it out! xoxo
