Double Takes: Janet Jackson

Janet, or Ms. Jackson if you're nasty has gotten her hands or should I say her feet on the hottest boots of the fall. Gucci always has the cutest boots, and as far as shoes go, they usually outshine the competition if I must say so myself. Janet obviously agrees, as she was spotted wearing the "Bonnie High Heel Platform Boots" twice last week. The first time I saw her in them was when she appeared on 106th & Park to promote her new film release "Why Did I Get Married?" The following time, she and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri were spotted at the launch party for his new book "Young, Rich & Dangerous." She goes with a very fitted pant and a blazer both times but lightening up the look the second time around with both a cream blazer and pant. She looks good both ways, but I like the darker approach, probably becuase the straps on the jacket match the boots perfectly. Here are a few shots from the Fall/Winter 2007 Runway show where these boots were premiered. They are shown is various ways, which reflects the versatility of this oh-so-stylish shoe. You can pair it with a dress, slacks, a pair of cords, or whatever you wish! They can be purchased through Gucci or of course Saks. They come in the color Janet is wearing, and in black and go for about $1,390.The heel is 4 1/2 inches and the boot is made of both leather and haircalf. I like them, they're perfect for fall!
