Where Have I Been?!

I have been so busy lately that I have barely had time to check my email, update my blog, or anything else that requires the computer! I promise I will do better in 09! In the meantime you can check out my write-up over at Rap-Up.com on the Lil Wayne concert, my girl Keyshia killed it! Check out my article!

I attended Children’s Holiday Bowl Charity Event yesterday hosted by Holly Robinson-Peete and Akon. It was so cute, all the little celeb children running around having a good time. I love it when stars flex their philanthropic muscles! Check out my write up at Rap-Up.com

This N' That: Weekend Edition

This weekend, a few things that caught my eye were:

The feather sweater SOLANGE rocked to a performance. I don't know but there's just something I digg about this girl...patent leather pants and all!

NINA SKY'S leather swag was impressive. I am loving the purple leather jacket!

She never ceases to amaze me, international superstar RIHANNA was spotted at the airport in a very casual but still stylish get-up. I love her jacket and scarf! "Lemme get that!" lol

ASHANTI'S bundled up Christmas look. I love the jacket and the hat! So Christmasy!

Last but not least, straight off the pages of GQ is NEYO attending the Kennedy Honors. Can you say tailor-made? I mean....! Alright then Neyo, we see you!

Oh yeah, and you can add him to the blossoming list fans of the new Gucci scarf. And so far, they all like pairing it with a gray cOat.

The Hotness: Fur Collars

In the past week, I've seen 3 very stylish men rocking jackets and coats with fur collars. DIDDY attended the Cadillac Records premiere in New York wearing a very cozy looking long pea coat with fur trimmed lapels. JAMIE FOXX'S was a little less dramatic, but still very stylish. The all black double breasted coat fits Jamie just right. Both men wore turtlenecks with their coats. In a little warmer climate, PHARRELL walks th streets of Miami in a black leather jacket that features a black fur collar. I am loving the look on all 3 men and I would love to see more of it!
For my ladies, here are a couple of my picks for the fur collared coats! Available at bebe.com and shopbop.com

Style Showdown: Young Jeezy vs. Lance Gross

With the cold weather getting more severe the scarf swagger has gone up a few notches in the last few months. YOUNG JEEZY was spotted leaving his hotel a few weeks ago in his Gucci scarf, gray jacket, black jeans and black Timberland boots, along with a gray Gucci scarf. LANCE GROSS was on the red carpet with his girlfriend Eva also wearing a gray jacket, black pants, and a black v-neck sweater. Who do you think wore it better? The preppy Lance or the more relaxed Jeezy?

World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day. The rates at which people are becoming infected are alarming and shows just how important it is to know your status.

"The 1st of December, World AIDS Day, is the day when individuals and organisations from around the world come together to bring attention to the global AIDS epidemic. 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day. Whilst we have come a long ways since 1988, there is still much more to be done." - Source
